On 15 Oct 2016, members of Hyoho Taisha ryu Dojo Yatsushiro Ryu-sen-kan demonstrated their skills for visitors from overseas, in front of a sacred tree of Aoi Aso Jinja shrine in Kumamoto, Japan.
This Embu (traditional martial arts demonstration) was held for the purpose of enhancing international exchange, as well as promotion of the shrine and the area for foreign visitors.
One of their Monjin (martial arts student) from Australia who was temporary visiting the Dojo for training purpose, also joined the event and had an opportunity of valuable “Mitori Keiko” training (watch and learn skills of experienced and advanced martial artists).
Master Yamamoto of the Dojo commented that he would like to continuously assisting promotion of Japanese traditional cultures.
