The Nippon Budokan, the largest venue in Japan whose main purpose is to showcase the Japanese martial arts will organize the 27th International Seminar of Budo Culture on 6th, 7th and 8th Mar 2015 in Chiba prefecture, Japan.
They will provide lectures regarding histories, philosophy and scientific aspects of Japanese martial arts for the purpose of deepening understanding of Budo. There will also be seminars of theories and actual techniques of Budo.
Foreign participants must be over 18 years old, resident in Japan, and are required to have a certificate of Shodan or higher. As the seminars will be held in English and Japanese, participants are also required to have one of the language skills.
The seminar is limited to 120 participants (100 foreign, 20 Japanese) and fee is JPY5,400.
Although a number of conditions are required for participation, if you are currently living in Japan and keen on learning Budo, this is an excellent opportunity and highly recommended to participate.
